About this Project

House of Joy is a florist that shares a lot of our natural ideology. We used “adobe”, a special material made with bricks of tightly compacted earth, clay, and straw. We borrowed architectural details from the earthen homes of early Native Americans. House of Joy features massive round-edge walls, flat roofs, stepped levels, stone and copper counter, and heavy timbers extending through the walls to support the roof,
